Thursday, July 17 @ 12pm
➤ Virtual Webinar
Navigating health data privacy is a critical — and often confusing — challenge for medtech startups. Are you a HIPAA covered entity, a business associate, or neither? What are the implications of collecting self-reported health information in lead forms? And how do privacy considerations shift as your company scales?
Join us for an in-depth conversation unpacking the complexities of HIPAA compliance, Business Associate Agreements (BAAs), and broader state and federal privacy laws that may impact your operations — even if HIPAA doesn’t. We'll explore common misconceptions, risks of non-compliance, and actionable strategies for building trust, managing risk, and designing effective privacy policies.
Whether you're building a connected device, capturing health-related leads, or preparing for partnership and acquisition conversations, this session will equip you with the clarity and tools to move forward confidently.
