What is the Innovation Showcase?

We are excited to announce an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to showcase their groundbreaking projects at the 2025 Innovation Showcase, part of the upcoming 2025 Northern New England MedTech Conference (NNEMTC).

The Innovation Showcase is a curated exhibition of early-stage medtech concepts, pre-venture startups, and research from students, labs, and new founders shaping the future of healthcare.

This is your chance to present groundbreaking work to a live audience of clinicians, founders, technologists, funders, and MedTech leaders.

Application Process

Submission Deadline: September 30th, 2025 
Notification of Acceptance: October 15th, 2025 
Student Innovation Showcase: November 12th in Portland, ME 
Conference Dates: November 12-14, 2025 in Portland, ME

About Northern New England MedTech Conference (NNEMTC)

The NNEMTC is a two-day, in-person experience that brings together the MedTech Collaborative Pitch Competition and Northern New England MedTech Conference in one program. The NNEMTC engages like-minded innovators from across the region, with a unique emphasis on fostering conversations to solve the biggest challenges in Healthcare.

Submission Guidelines

Eligibility Open to all undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled in programs related to medical engineering, innovation, and technology.

Format Poster presentations in the form of the Business Model Canvas. Each participant will be allocated space to display their poster and discuss their work with attendees.

Topics We welcome submissions on a wide range of topics* within medical technology, including but not limited to

•  Health Informatics
•  Telemedicine
•  Digital Health Solutions
•  AI in Healthcare
•  Rural Health 

*At this time, we are not accepting submissions related to pharmaceuticals and drug development.
