He has contributed as an inventor and collaborator to secure 20+ patents, shaping the future of next-generation development. Additionally, Roger serves as an industry mentor, expanding the company's knowledge base for the advancement of future products.

David J. Schneider, MD

Medical Director, Cardiovascular Services; Chief Scientific Officer and Co-Founder, Prolocor

Award-winning physician and scientist, Dr. Schneider has been named teacher of the year four times. He has an active research program focused on causal connections between diabetes and heart disease, and the role of platelets in the development and progression of atherosclerosis.  Dr. Schneider holds several patents, is active in national and international professional societies, and is a member of the editorial board of the American Journal of Cardiology.

Jeff's career has spanned two decades as a seasoned MedTech technologist, inventor, entrepreneur, advisor, and  investor. He is currently co-founder & Managing Partner of Features Capital, an early-stage (Seed to Series B) VC focused on unlocking MedTech innovations that will radically transform the healthcare landscape. Prior to Features, he built, scaled, and exited from an industry leading product development and commercialization strategy consultancy focused on medical device and consumer health products with his previous partner of twenty years. In 2020, he co-founded the non-profit MedTech Collaborative, dedicated to establishing Northern New England as a nationally recognized MedTech innovation hub and supporting the region's growing industry. Jeff is an active board member and advisor to several companies and organizations, is an inventor on a dozen patents, and has been a Principal Investigator for several NIH and DoD research grants.
